Video: Hattie Harvey helps bring Alaska Native curriculum to Anchorage early childhood education program

Alaska's Native languages were once forbidden in the state's schools. Today, immersion programs across the state are working to restore both languages and cultural practices to the classroom. Assistant professor Hattie Harvey and her students in UAA's Early Childhood Education program are helping one Anchorage immersion program establish both a curriculum and a community.
