Last week, the Union of Students at the University of Alaska Anchorage (USUAA) co-hosted a rally in support of overriding the governor's vetoes, held Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the Alaska Airlines Center on UAA's campus. A series of speakers provided insight into the importance of the university system and the devastating consequences which could result from the governor's vetoes. Special guest Portugal. The Man performed during the rally.All expenses paid through a generous grant from AK Children's Trust and USUAA.
