Congratulations to the KPC Class of 2022!

Dear Graduate,

It is a special time of year on the Kenai Peninsula — when we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates! Across our campuses, you can feel the excitement as students wrap up final exams, swap stories about the semester and prepare to hear their names read aloud during commencement.

Your commitment to achieving this honor was hard-fought. We recognize the discipline it took and the sacrifices you have made. You have balanced the demands of life and school during a global pandemic. I hope you celebrate with the friends, family members, classmates and faculty who helped you reach this moment.

Your transition from student to graduate is significant. We can’t wait to see where your path takes you after graduation — whether it’s an advanced degree, new career or a continuation of your current one. As a graduate of Kenai Peninsula College, you now join a large family of more than 65,000 UAA alumni worldwide. I encourage you to get involved with the UAA Alumni Association, which holds events throughout the year so you can stay connected.

All the best, and let's celebrate together!
Sean Parnell,
UAA Chancellor
