Homecoming is just around the corner! Celebrate all things Green & Gold with a great line-up of events Oct. 7-14. From hockey and volleyball to the Homecoming Luncheon and the College of Business and Public Policy Showcase, there's something for everyone at this all-campus, all-community celebration. Bring your friends and family to campus and join the tradition.

Saturday, Oct. 7

Hockey vs. UMass Lowell and Pre-Game Party

Saturday, Oct. 7 | Doors open at 3 p.m. | Puck drops at 4:07 p.m. | Avis Alaska Sports Complex
The #UAAHOCO fun starts with the University of Alaska Anchorage Hockey Team vs. UMass Lowell. Enjoy pre-game entertainment from the 11th Airborne Division Band, free t-shirts courtesy of Avis Alaska and free chips from Alaska Chip Company! Get tickets now!

Hockey vs. UMass Lowell (Pink Out)

Turn the rink pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Free pink-out mullets and boom sticks for fans, plus free Alaska Chip Company chips and popcorn for the student section. Tickets are $10-$30. UAA students can attend for free and bring a guest for $5.

Be our guest at UAA's largest alumni tradition! Hosted by your UAA Alumni Association, Homecoming Luncheon provides an opportunity to celebrate alumni as they reconnect with their alma mater. More than a fundraiser, Homecoming is a cornerstone celebration of UAA alumni, promoting lifelong connections between students, alumni and your Hometown U.

In collaboration with the Anchorage School District, this year's theme is partners in education, and will feature alumni sharing their stories of the importance and value of an Alaska education and the critical roles we all serve in providing educational pathways to our next generation of leaders.

This year's presenters include keynote speaker Cal Williams, Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters ’22, community activist and past president of the Alaska chapter of the NAACP, and  guest speaker Brad Hillwig, M.B.A. General Management ’10, founder and CEO of Greatland Studios.

College of Business and Public Policy Showcase: 50 Years in the Making

Friday, Oct. 13, 5-7:30 p.m. | Rasmuson Hall

Celebrate 50 years of the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) while you join friends, classmates and the community for an evening of learning. Experience programs that help our students become leaders in a rapidly changing world. Tickets on sale now!

  • Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while you explore all three floors of Rasmuson Hall, CBPP's home on campus.
  • Celebrate the launch of our new finance lab.
