    Congratulations to our 2021 graduates! We are proud of you and are honored to have been a part of your journey. Information on the Fall 2021 hybrid commencement ceremony and the RSVP pages for graduates, faculty and volunteers will be available soon.

Fall 2021 Commencement Update

  • Graduate Hooding Ceremony, Dec. 11, 2021, 3 p.m., Wendy Williamson Auditorium (Masks required to attend)
  • Commencement Ceremony, Dec. 12, 2021, Time(s) to be posted, Alaska Airlines Center (Masks required to attend)

Our intention is to host a hybrid commencement(s) where graduates and a limited number of guests can attend either in person (masked) or online based on their comfort level and the safety protocols currently in place at the Alaska Airlines Center. Details are being finalized and will be posted mid-October.

Graduates whose commencements were impacted by the pandemic will be emailed information regarding the return to full in-person ceremonies when those details are confirmed.  Virtual commencements have been archived for continued viewing.  

A Message from Degree Services Regarding Diplomas

Congratulations on your tremendous achievement! Check your preferred email account after graduation for information about your diploma. To ensure receipt of this information, please make sure your preferred email and mailing addresses are current in UAOnline.

As you wait for your diploma, here are two alternate ways to verify your degree:

  1. Your transcript will show your degree information. You may access your unofficial transcript and order official transcripts in UAOnline: alaska.edu/uaonline.
  2. The National Student Clearinghouse is the official verification service for employers to verify degrees: nationalstudentclearinghouse.org.
