Volunteers: You must completed a Volunteers Form with all events you wish to attend one day before the event you have registered for.


What is UAA FUSION?
For Unity and Service In Our Neighborhoods. This is a community service program launched by the Office of New Student in the fall of 2007.

Our Purpose
To enrich the college experience for new UAA students by introducing them to philanthropy; to empower students and others to actively volunteer and contribute their time, talents and resources in civic participation to improve the city of Anchorage.

Our Model
Build community partnerships; Identify service sites; Recruit student volunteers; Establish student leadership; Transport volunteers to and from service sites via Seawolf Shuttles; Acknowledge students and community partners at UAA FUSION Appreciation.

Our Motto
It doesn't cost to care.

When is UAA FUSION?
At the start of each semester; One FUSION date in the fall and spring.

Who can volunteer?
Students, staff, faculty at all levels are welcome to participate in UAA FUSION. For more information click on the Volunteer link to the right.

What impact does UAA FUSION have on the community?
UAA FUSION promotes a deeper relationship between UAA and the surrounding Anchorage community. By participating in UAA FUSION you are saying "Thanks!" to wonderful community groups that provide important services to the area population.
UAA FUSION is also beneficial in that it helps our new students connect with their new neighborhood.
