- Aicha Elshabini was awarded the 2006 Daniel C. Hughes Memorial Award for “Crucial and Sustained Work in Support of IMAPS Publications, and for Decades of Accomplishments in Microelectronics Related Education”.
- Elshabini was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Educator Award by IMAPS in October 2007. With this third award from IMAPS Professor Elshabini became the first woman to earn three top awards from IMAPS in its 40 year history
- Aicha Elshabini has received the President’s Award for 2011,International Society of Microelectronics and Electronic Packaging, Long Beach, California, October 9 - 13. Her award citation is “For knowledge and achievements in the packaging community for over two decades and serving IMAPS in a great number of volunteer positions”
- A wealth of competitive funding of her career of 35 years to graduate an impressive number of doctoral students and master students exceeding well over 150 bright individuals well positioned in their jobs
- An impressive publication record, among them four textbooks, well over 150 journal papers, and 200 conference papers, and many invited talks
- Professor Aicha Elshabini has been also awarded numerous Distinguished Engineering Educator Awards on the University and National levels
- Professor Elshabini was successful in carrying ABET visitations for three different Institutions during her technical career (as a faculty member, a department head and a dean of engineering)
