OVERVIEW

Get your team signed up now!

The Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) course offers interactive training across cardiac, traumatic, pediatric, obstetrical, neonatal, and medical advanced life support scenarios. CALS materials establish the CALS Universal Approach for evaluating and treating critically ill or injured patients.

Designed for physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and paramedics, the course provides an opportunity to practice lifesaving skills that are rarely used in routine care. Participants are encouraged to attend in teams, and class sizes are limited to 24 participants per session. Priority is given to rural healthcare providers.

Prerequisites: Participants must hold an Advanced Life Support credential (MD, DO, PA-C, ANP, RN, or Paramedic). EMTs, CHAPs, CNAs, and CMAs are currently not eligible; future courses may include these levels.
