The Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH–HW) offers accredited continuing education for Alaska’s healthcare professionals. Through our joint accreditation, we can administer continuing education (CE) credits for multiple health professions through a single, unified process. Our accreditation supports both single-profession and interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) credits for:

ACRH–HW is accredited by the following national organizations:

 These accreditations allow us to provide CE credits that meet the requirements for relicensure, specialty certification, and continuing competency across a wide range of healthcare professions.

Supporting Additional Professions

For professions including clinical counselors, marriage and family therapists, and alcohol and drug counselors, our CE programs meet the requirements recognized by the appropriate Alaska state boards.

Final acceptance for relicensure or certification remains with the individual licensing board.

How to Accredit Your Activity with ACRH–HW

If you have the dates and materials for your activity and are ready to request accreditation:

Required Materials
  •  A detailed agenda with session titles and descriptions
  •  Bios for all speakers/presenters/instructors
  •  A reference list, if available
  •  Instructional material, if available
 There is a $200 non-refundable application fee for organizations external to UAA.

 Important Notes

  •  12-Week Notice: We require a minimum of 12 weeks' notice before the activity start date to allow sufficient time for planning, compliance review, and accreditation processing. Applications outside this timeline will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will incur additional fees.
  •  Pricing Model: Our base fee is $1,250 for a 1-credit activity with 1 presenter. Final cost will be determined by the number of CE credits and the number of presenters. Package pricing is available. Complete our interest form if you would like a quote prior to submitting an application.
  •  Partner Deadlines: ACRH-HW can only be held responsible for satisfactory performance if deadlines are met by the partner. It is the responsibility of the partner to meet deadlines.
