Cultural Compass: Shaping Recovery and Ethical Foundations
The Department of Human Services presents the 2024 Alaska Summer Institute's behavioral health conference series.
This event is open to all university and community members, as well as licensed health,
human, and social service professionals.
This year, the focus is on understanding the complex interplay between culture and
identity and how culture and ethics influence these dynamics. Practitioners from Alaska
and other states grappling with similar issues are encouraged to attend. Don't miss

Credits are offered as contact hours through the UAA Department of Human Services, an accredited continuing education provider, and meet the State of Alaska's requirements for licensed social workers by the Board of Social Work Examiners as stated in the Alaska Statues and Regulations Social Workers (12 AAC 18.220. Approved Continuing Education Activity).
