What do you love about your job?
Working as a medical assistant is vital to helping providers understand a patient's situation quickly and more efficiently. The positive feedback I receive from my patients is what motivates me to put my best foot forward.

What motivated you to pursue a career in healthcare?
My mother was my motivation to pursue my career in the healthcare system. My mother was a close supporter of mine and motivated me to work hard; her passing further motivated me to help members of my community who are also suffering through the same medical issues.

Lisa Nash, the program director of the UAA Medical Assisting program. She is amazing and always gives back to her students. I appreciate everything she does for both her students and the CMAs in the community. She is an inspiration to me.
