University of Alaska Anchorage campus will be closed September 24, 2021 beginning at 6:40 AM, due to weather. Students and employees should check their email for more information. The university will remain closed for the weekend and reopen on Monday morning.
The Alaska Airlines Center will be open Saturday, September 25, for the home volleyball match that afternoon.
The mission of the Automotive Technology programs is to prepare students for high paying, high demand careers in the transportation repair and maintenance field, to assist working automotive technicians in continuing and professional education, to assist other related programs (both secondary and postsecondary throughout Alaska), and to advance the image of the automotive technology industry.
The Automotive Technology program prepares graduates for high-skill careers as maintenance and repair technicians in dealerships, fleet operations, and independent repair facilities. Ranked 9th among 15 Best Value Automotive Mechanic Schools in the US!
All instructors are Master ASE Certified; the program is accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.
