Below are all the dates relating to the evaluation of 4th year comprehensive, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure files sorted by steps (some steps you will skip depending on the type of review you are undergoing). More extensive explanations of the process are available in the 2025 - 2027 UNAC Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) section 9.2, and if you are a visual learner there is also a flowchart with the dates and a flowchart for extended campus faculty.

UNAC Evaluation Process

If one of the dates below falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it shall be treated as falling on the following Monday.

External reviews are only required for promotion and tenure files. If you are not submitting a promotion and/or tenure file, you can skip this step.

  • For Community Campus faculty, the Campus Director or Designee submits evaluation of the file and recommendation to the Dean. The deadline for this review is agreed upon with the Dean.
  • Dec. 20: Dean/Designee submits evaluation of the file and recommendation to the faculty member and to the Provost
  • Jan. 3: Faculty response is due

Step 4: MAU Peer Review Committee (UFEC)
