Social Sciences Building, Room 302
Now that you've signed up for classes and bought all your books, get involved in preventing
suicide among UAA students. The UAA Integrated Suicide Prevention Initiative offers
gatekeeper training for students so that we can all better recognize suicide risk
and feel more confident helping someone who may be suicidal. During this brief training,
you will learn about warning signs, how to talk to someone who may be at risk for
suicide and about campus and community resources that are available.
There are no prerequisites to take part in this training and everyone is welcome. Sign up today to become part of a community of gatekeepers at UAA!
