Russian Cultural Extravaganza seeking talent; apply by March 12Are you a singer, dancer or musician? Would you like to dress in traditional folk dress? Do you have a passion for all things Russian?

On May 10, the Department of Languages is cosponsoring a Russian Cultural Extravaganza with a local Russian dance troupe, Sudarushka, to help celebrate the troupe's 10th anniversary and promote Russian-American cultural exchange.

We invite you to join us as a participant or a spectator. At this time, we are looking for musicians, singers, costume models and children of all ages who are willing to show off their talents in Russian art, performing arts and culture. Former Sudarushka members are invited as honored guests. Food and merchant vendors are welcome. We also welcome students of Russian language from the community.
