The Norway Experience: Northern education discussion, March 4

Anne-Mette Bjøru, assistant professor of English at Finnmark University College in
Alta, Norway will speak on the Norwegian educational system. Bjøru's presentation
will focus specifically on Norway's core curriculum, as well as adapted education
and inclusion. Bjøru is a member of the University of the Arctic, a network comprised
of education-focused organizations that support higher education among northern communities
and people.
Open discussion regarding similarities in education between Norway and the United States will follow the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.
