Who We Are
Student Activities offers a variety of events and programs to make campus life exciting for all. From concerts to hypnotists to nationally touring comedians, poetry jam artists, and the Student Union Gallery, Student Activities provides something for everyone.
Programming Team: The Student Activities Programming Team consists of UAA students who coordinate Student Activities events. These students select, promote, and produce more than 150 events per year.
Student Union Gallery: The Student Union Gallery showcases artwork created by UAA students. Each art exhibit opens with a Thursday reception and lasts for several weeks.
Graphics Team: The Graphics team with Student Activities helps create and promote all events through graphics and promotional items for the UAA and Anchorage communities for all Student Activities events.
What We Do
Committed to meeting the diverse entertainment and cultural needs of the UAA campus, Student Activities presents local musicians each week at Noon Music, the Family Movie Night Series, The Banff Mountain Film Festival, and a variety of art exhibits. These events are possible due to student fees (currently $3.50 per credit for students enrolled in on-campus courses: six or more credits during the fall/spring semesters, at least three credits during the summer semester). By providing a variety of engaging events to the UAA community, Student Activities puts your student fees to work!
