Map: Single Occupancy Restrooms
The University of Alaska strives to create and sustain welcoming, supportive, safe, and nondiscriminatory communities. One aspect of creating a supportive environment is providing safe, accessible, and convenient restroom and locker room facilities. Students, staff, faculty, and campus guests are welcome to use restroom and locker room facilities. The University of Alaska does not have policy dictating access to gendered areas such as restrooms. However, the University of Alaska does and will continue to comply with all applicable federal, state or local laws that may apply to issues surrounding access to gendered areas. Gender-neutral facilities may be available in some buildings. Students, staff, faculty and campus guests are asked to behave respectfully when utilizing shared spaces, including gendered areas, and to consider and respect the privacy interests of all members of our communities.
