The Fight
This fall, the UAA Spirit Distance Challenge: Fight Against Hunger raised more than $2k to fight food insecurity among UAA students, with more than $900 in additional donations beyond registration fees.
All proceeds from the challenge, which encouraged UAA students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to run, walk or roll towards a distance goal up to 40k, will go towards fighting food insecurity among UAA students through programs like the UAA Emergency Food Cache and the UAA Food Pantry currently in development.
Food Drive
Any time during Homecoming Week, drop-off non-perishable food at the Student Union or the Library for food donations that will help serve the UAA community and Food Bank of Alaska.
Claim a Student Organization when you donate. The student org with the most donations by the end of the week will win $100!
