Biography

David Pettibone is an Alaskan painter. He received his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Pettibone regularly exhibits his work at galleries and institutions in Alaska and across the country and his paintings are in various private and public collections. He currently teaches drawing and painting in Anchorage. Often, you can often find him outdoors, painting a tree, just off of the trail.
