UAA Health Career Explorers Program

The UAA Health Careers Explorers Program (HCEP) is a week-long summer experience for middle school students interested in pursuing a career in health care.  The goal of this program is to expose students to various health occupations and to teach students essential skills and abilities of health care workers.  Program participants will learn how to apply the topics they are learning in school to healthcare situations.  The program seeks to enhance the student experience through hands-on activities, role-playing, tours, and guest speakers. The summer program will be limited to students who have completed their 8th grade year, and are entering 9th grade.
