A national honor society for social work students
The Epsilon Chi Chapter of Phi Alpha, the national honor society for social work students, was established at UAA during the 1995-1996 academic year for graduate and undergraduate students.
The purpose of the Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.
Applications are mailed out to eligible students during the month of March (Social Work Month). All applications are processed through the School of Social Work. If you have questions, please email us or call 907-786-6900.
