Due to unsafe road conditions for Anchorage and surrounding areas, UAA’s Anchorage campus will be on a delayed start today, Thursday, Dec. 4. Campus will open at 10 a.m. to allow for safer travel.
UAA Designated "Voter Friendly Campus"
UAA has earned the designation of “Voter Friendly Campus” by NASPA – Student Affairs
Administrators in Higher Education and Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project
(CVP) for the second year in a row. Many of the efforts that have helped UAA to earn
this designation are carried out by COMM 111 students participating in a community-engaged
project. The efforts are supported by the UAA Center for Community Engagement and Learning.
