The Transportation & Power Division is home to the Automotive Technology and Diesel Power Technology programs and the Welding & Nondestructive Testing Technology program. Each program contains various levels of degrees and certificates to fit your career goals.


Automotive Technology Website  - The Automotive Technology program prepares students to understand theory, diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, transaxles, suspension, steering, brake systems, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as fuel and ignition systems of modern vehicles. The AAS degree and undergraduate certificate are accredited by Automotive Service Excellence 
(ASE) Education Foundation.


Diesel Power Technology Website - The Diesel Power Technology program teaches students the skills needed to be successful as technicians in the medium and heavy duty truck and equipment service industry. Laboratory experiences are performed on equipment and components currently used in the heavy duty transportation, construction and power generation industries. The AAS degree and undergraduate certificate are accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.


Welding & Nondestructive Testing Technology Website - The Welding & Nondestructive Testing Technology program prepares students for employment in welding and/or nondestructive examination as entry level technicians. A variety of career opportunities are available to welding technicians and nondestructive examination technicians. Both of these fields are utilized in construction, manufacturing, and transportation industries throughout the world.
