The University Honors College advances, coordinates, and administers active learning and undergraduate research opportunities for students across the campus. We work in concert with all UAA colleges to enable students the opportunity to graduate with distinction. In addition, the Honors College helps students develop the necessary leadership and academic skills to reach their full potential. Honors College faculty and staff are dedicated to fostering an environment where students can develop into well-rounded scholars. We fund student undergraduate research and offer outstanding academic programs that provide a competitive edge for career options as well as admission to the best graduate and professional schools in the nation.

We invite you to enrich your educational experience with research and active learning by working with faculty on research projects and applying for research grants or major national scholarships.
