Campus parking alert for 2013 Heart Run, April 27

Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. line up Fine Arts Building, Parking Lot

The 2013 Heart Run takes place Saturday, April 27. Beginning and ending in the Fine Arts Building parking lot, the race loops around east campus, student housing and the APU campus. Please be aware that traffic on campus will be heavy and some roads will be blocked, particularly those providing entry to student housing. Plan ahead and allow extra time to reach your destination. Parking for 2013 Heart Run participants will be available in:

• Health Sciences Building Lot
• King Career Center Parking Lot (off-campus)
• Library Main Lot
• Library Northeast Lot
• North Parking Lot
• Sports Center Northwest Lot
• Sports Center West Lot
• West Campus Central Lot

Parking for UAA patrons will be available in:

• Central Parking Garage
• East Campus Central Lot
• East Parking Garage
• Eugene Short Lot
• West Parking Lot

Click here for a map of UAA's campus. Runners are encouraged to carpool or use alternative methods of transportation. Heart Run is providing a shuttle that will circulate every 15 minutes beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at noon. The shuttle will take people to and from the race start/finish and the parking lots.

Signs will be up around campus reminding UAA patrons and Heart Run participants of parking lot designations. Volunteers will also be on hand to direct traffic.
