Todd Cherry, an economist from Appalachian State University and a senior research fellow with the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research—Oslo, is the new College of Business and Public Policy Rasmuson Chair of Economics.

UAA celebrates the Class of 2013, May 5

The University of Alaska Anchorage will celebrate the 2,315 graduates of the Class of 2013 at the annual commencement ceremony Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. at the Sullivan Arena. Emil Notti and Tom Sexton will receive honorary degrees. M. Hilary Davies and Michael T. Turner will be recognized with emeriti status.
