Facing tough competition at the NCAA Div. II Indoor Championships in North Carolina, senior Micah Chelimo earned his fourth national title in a tight 3,000-meter finish on Saturday. One hundredth of a second separated Chelimo from his closest competitor, Kevin Batt, from Adams State.

In day one of the NCAA championships, Chelimo earned a second-place title in the 5,000 meters, this time trailing Batt by just three hundredths of a second.
