It's not over yet! The hard-charging hockey team wrapped up their regular season with a 3-1 win against UAF in the final game of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup series. Goalie Rob Gunderson was the man of the hour with 30 saves. That game brings UAA's season total to 16 wins (12 WCHA) for the team's first regular season winning record since 1992-93. They get a chance to meet up again with UAF in post-season play this weekend. Expect a grudge match since the Nanooks skated away with the official Governor's Cup title following a series tie-breaking postgame shootout on Sunday. If the Seawolves win their post-season match, they'll head to Michigan for the WCHA Final Five.
