Tournament Prizes
Tournament Champions
The members of the Championship Team, as determined by the Final Round, will each
receive a plaque signifying their accomplishment as the top team in the tournament.
Each member of the championship team will receive a $250 merit-based, cash scholarship
for academic achievement in interscholastic debate.
Tournament Finalists
The remaining six debaters (three teams) in the final round will each receive a plaque
recognizing their accomplishments in the tournament.
Top Speaker Award
The top speaker at the tournament, as determined by their speaker score in the preliminary
round(s), will be awarded a plaque for excellence in debating. This individual will
also receive a $250 merit-based, cash scholarship for academic achievement in interscholastic
debate.
Tournament Semifinalists
The eight non-advancing semifinalist debaters (four teams) will each receive a certificate recognizing their accomplishments in the tournament.
Participants
Participation certificates will be provided to any competitor who completes all four preliminary rounds.
