The School of Justice and Human Services advances the well-being and safety of Alaskans by preparing professionals to navigate the intersections of law, behavior, and social service. Through high-impact education, training, and community-based research, we empower students to address the social and legal determinants of health, contributing to a healthier future for Alaska communities.

The School of Justice and Human Services offers comprehensive undergraduate programs in:

  • Criminology & Criminal Justice
  • Human Services
  • Legal Studies

The School also houses the Alaska Justice Information Center (AJiC) - Alaska's preeminent justice research center - and the John E. Havelock Trial Simulation Courtroom.
