UAA Alert! Anchorage Campus Inclement Weather Notice for Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.
Due to unsafe road conditions for Anchorage and surrounding areas, UAA’s Anchorage campus will be on a delayed start today, Thursday, Dec. 4. Campus will open at 10 a.m. to allow for safer travel.
Food Assistance
- Seawolf Food Pantry: serves all UAA students who are experiencing some type of food insecurity and provides a three-day supply of shelf-stable food for individuals and households of up to four people. The food pantry can be used twice every month by each UAA student.
- Emergency Food Cache: Student Health & Counseling Center, Rasmuson Hall 120
- Food Bank of Alaska: map of food distribution sites across Alaska. This includes monthly calendars of where food deliveries and hot meals can be found.
- SNAP Assistance: Food Bank of Alaska provides assistance with applying for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and answering questions
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children program): a nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers and young children. Provides nutrition education and electronic benefits to buy free, healthy food.
