The Center helps retain a high quality healthcare workforce in Alaska by providing access to continuing education, resiliency, and loan repayment opportunities. The ultimate goal is to stabilize the health workforce to better meet the healthcare needs of Alaska.

SHARP

Alaska’s SHARP program is our statewide support-for-service effort to improve the recruitment, retention, and distribution of healthcare professionals through student loan repayment and direct incentives. SHARP is a public-private partnership working to support healthcare practitioners in medical, dental, and behavioral health disciplines.
