Academic Advising at the UAA Justice Center
Most academic advising for Justice Center pre-majors and majors is conducted by the College of Health Student Success Center. Student Success advisors are available to meet with students on a one-on-one basis to discuss a wide range of academic topics including program requirements, short and long term academic and career plans, financial aid eligibility, and more. To schedule an appointment, call their office at 907-786-1318 or schedule online through the Seawolf Tracks website or app.
Not a Justice Center student? View the UAA Advising webpage for information for other college advisors. Still not sure who you should be meeting with? Please call the Who's My Advisor Hotline at 907-786-1000 for additional assistance.
Program Director/Faculty
Justice Center faculty members are here to help you succeed and are available to meet with students at any point along their academic and professional pathways. Upon admission into one of our programs, you will be assigned a Faculty Mentor who will work in collaboration with the advisors in the College of Health Student Success Center. If you do not know who your Faculty Mentor is, first check your academic record in DegreeWorks. If none is listed, please contact the Justice Center at uaa.justice@alaska.edu.
Please note that Faculty Mentors are typically available only during Fall and Spring semesters. For academic advising during the Summer semester, students should contact the College of Health Student Success Center or the Justice Center at uaa.justice@alaska.edu. Please make your best effort to meet with your mentor during his or her office hours. If you have a schedule conflict, please contact your mentor by email to make an appointment.
