International Transcript Evaluation by World Education Services
Official non-US high school (excluding US military) or post-secondary transcripts must be submitted to World Education Services (WES). Do not submit foreign transcripts directly to UAA. WES will analyze international coursework/degrees and provide US equivalents to UAA. The WES requirement applies to all applicants who have attended any institution outside of the United States, (excluding US military) regardless of their citizenship status.
- Anchorage School District graduates can order transcripts online with the Anchorage School District request for transcripts form.
- Students who earned their GED in Alaska can request an official GED transcript using
the State of Alaska GED Transcript Request form.
How does the Admissions Team decide which transcripts are required?
The transcripts required for admission to UAA vary depending on the applicant's level of education. Here is an overview of what is required for each level. Which specific transcripts you are required to submit will be listed on your application checklist. Log back in to the Application Portal to review your requirements and admission status.
