- Promote exciting job and internship opportunities
Career Services is eager to work with faculty and staff to help promote exciting and relevant job and internship opportunities to UAA students. We understand that each department fosters unique and purposeful relationships with community organizations. Career Services seeks to support and elevate these relationships by inviting employers to supplement their engagement endeavors through Handshake and career events.
Posting jobs and internships
The University of Alaska Anchorage uses Handshake, a career management platform for recruiting early talent. Employers can create a free account on Handshake, to advertise open jobs and internships, manage job applications, register for career fairs and other recruiting events, direct message students and alumni, and more!
Community partners interested in learning more about Handshake may visit the employer webpage or you may send them the following message in order to connect them directly to Career Services for more information.
Hello,
Our University system uses Handshake, a career management platform for recruiting early talent, to post all jobs and internships. Contact uaa_career@alaska.edu today to get started with your free account. Once you join you will be able to recruit students across all three institutions - the University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Alaska Fairbanks, and University of Alaska Southeast. For even more information about how to recruit with UAA please visit the Career Services, employer webpage.
