Welcome to the UAA School of Nursing! The purpose of the School of Nursing is to promote the health and well-being of people and communities by fostering excellence and innovation in nursing education, research and healthcare. Our core values are the following:

  • Angelia Trujillo

    Alumni of Distinction: Angelia Trujillo

    Angelia Trujillo, associate professor in the School of Nursing, has been awarded the UAA Alumni Humanitarian Award for her outstanding contributions to the field of nursing and to Alaska’s communities. Trujillo earned her M.S. in Nursing Science from UAA in 2004, and her B.S. in Nursing Science here in 1997.
