Directions

The UAA Planetarium and Visualization Theater is located on the second floor of the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building, at 3101 Science Circle in Anchorage. Ground parking is available in the lot next to the library (marked with a red A).  And there is a parking garage (marked with a red B). Both are equally close to the planetarium. You can enter the CPSB from doors on either side of the building, which will take you into the atrium on the ground floor. Take the stairwell at the center of the atrium to the second floor, and cross the bridge to the entrance of the planetarium. Please allow at least 10 minutes to park and make your way to the planetarium. You will need even more time if you need to purchase a parking pass (see below). Please note that you must be in the planetarium 10 minutes before the start of the show or your seats will be released to waiting customers. To avoid disturbing those enjoying the show, no one will be seated once the show has begun.

Parking permits or day passes are required to park on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus during the Fall and Spring semesters from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Parking is free at all other times, including Fridays and weekends.
