Stellar Timeline

This activity will introduce students to the lifecycle of stars. Groups will be split up and given multiple images of different stages of stellar evolution. Instructors will go over how stars are born, how they evolve, and how they die. Afterwards, students will use the images to make a timeline of a star’s life. They will then place their timeline relative to the timeline of the universe and of Earth. Students will not be able to take their timelines after the activity.
