MCHB Graduate Epidemiology Project

The Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) sponsors Graduate Student Epidemiology program to enhance students’ skills in data analysis, promote training in MCH epidemiology, and to provide assistance to state and local health agencies with data-related projects. Projects are focused in these three critical areas: Data Analysis and Monitoring, Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation.

Each year the program offers a list of opportunities for 12-week projects in state or local health departments. Students are paid a stipend of $4,500 for the summer and will be required to submit a final report at the conclusion of their projects.

Application deadline: February 12, 2016
