Teaching Assistantships

Teaching Assistants (TAs) are primarily responsible for teaching, tutoring, instructing or lecturing for the purposes of imparting knowledge to students.

A Teaching Assistantships may include:

  • A semester-long stipend
  • Tuition remission for 6 UAA credits per semester at the resident rate
  • Graduate student health insurance

How to Apply

Please follow the instructions to complete the TA application.  Submit the application through Blackboard before the TA Application deadline.

If you are selected to receive a Teaching Assistantship, you will need to complete the Graduate TA Pool Application for your hiring paperwork.
