This award recognizes staff who have provided outstanding service to UA students. Each recipient receives an award plaque, $1,000 and two domestic airline vouchers. All nominees receive a certificate of nomination.

UAA's Student Activities team is hosting a discussion with Anchorage Assembly members Austin Quinn-Davidson and Suzanne LaFrance about their experiences as women in politics, Wednesday, March 22 from 5-7 p.m. in the Student Union Den.

The Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

KPC’s Admissions Counselor represents Kenai Peninsula College both on- and off-campus in a variety of outreach and community engagement activities. This position initiates and nurtures relationships with prospective students, counselors, teachers, administrators, as well as tribal and other community organizations that serve and employ prospective students.

The Department of Theatre & Dance, in partnership with Perseverance Theatre and the College of Arts and Sciences, is hosting a UAA night for the upcoming performance of "The Great Leap."

Join the College of Business of Public Policy Thursday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at the Writer's Block Cafe for Economics After Hours. Alex James, associate professor of economics will discuss some common errors people make and use examples to highlight the power of experimentation with applications in health care, charitable giving, criminal justice and beyond.

The UAA Health Promotion Team and Student Activities has partnered to provide a Wellness Wagon on campus that will travel twice weekly through the spine starting in Rasmuson Hall Lobby and ending in the Consortium Library.
