UAA Languages Department Chair Natasa Masanovic accepts the Governor's North Star Award for International Excellence from Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell.
On June 7, the UAA Department of Languages was honored with the Governor's North Star Award for International Excellence at the 26th Annual Export Alaska Luncheon. The award, recognizing the department's exceptional accomplishments in mentoring students for international scholarships and exchanges, was presented by Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell and accepted by the department chair, Natasa Masanovic, Ph.D.
