The UAA Department of Music and Confucius Institute are proud to present pianist Sa Chen in concert. Described as "one of the brightest performers of her generation" by Classic FM, Sa Chen has been delighting audiences worldwide for almost two decades. She made her first major international appearance in 1996, at the age of 16, when she performed live on BBC Television as a competitor in the final round of the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition, playing with Sir Simon Rattle and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
