August 2014: UAA iTeach

by Michelle Saport  |

iTeach is a five-day blended learning experience (two days distance work and three days hands-on clinic) offered to UAA instructors by the Instructional Design Team at UAA Academic Innovations & eLearning. If you've been asked to add an online component to your courses, if you want to teach online or if you just want to integrate more technology into your classroom, iTeach training can help.

  • Gather and manage your own research;
  • Create course schedules that work for you and your students;
  • Build and manage online learning communities;
  • Create pedagogically sound face-to-face or online courses;
  • Design courses that are fun, possess academic integrity and meet UAA's academic guidelines;
  • Join a community of like-minded iTeach participants that care about course quality;

This year's participants will be considered pilot participants in our new "Edupass" program. They will receive an incentive of one Sloan-C week-long workshop (a $269 value) and have the opportunity to continue working with us throughout the year for further technology and professional development incentives.
