This hands-on workshop will equip employees with a powerful understanding of effective screening and selection methods. Participants will learn specific interview questions to ask that may reveal an increased risk to abuse. They will also learn how to detect evasive and deceptive responding and malingering in interviews. Participants will learn behavioral interviewing methods, how to use telephone interviews, how to set up a reference call-in center to manage more reference checks in a short period of time and how to critically review information provided on written applications.
