Students bring Iceland to Anchorage

Nordik Language Klub meets twice a week to learn Norwegian and Icelandic language. Their meetings are open to the community and draw a rotating crew of students, alumni and Anchorage neighbors (and even the occasional international ambassador) to UAA.

Tanaina Child Development Center has been an Anchorage campus fixture since 1979, but they're not just helping kiddos learn. By partnering with the College of Education, they're boosting faculty research and helping a new generation of early childhood educators gain experience.
