2015 Black History Month

February is Black History Month. Join the UAA community in celebrating at any of the many events happening on campus this month.
Please be sure to join us at the 2015 Black History Month Kick-off Celebration, which will take place Thursday, Jan. 29, in the Student Union Cafeteria from 12-2 p.m. The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. E. Louis Overstreet, Alaska Civil Rights leader and author of Black on a Background of White: A Chronicle of Afro-American's Involvement in America's Last Frontier. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided.
