UAA Military & Veteran Student Services has partnered with Points of Light to help bring a special showing of "Theater of War" to Alaska. Save the date for this free event-a dramatic reading of Sophocles' "Ajax," an ancient Greek tragedy about the suicide of a great, respected warrior. The "Theater of War" tour is bringing the play to diverse military and civilian audiences in order to engage communities in powerful town hall discussions about the visible and invisible wounds of war. The presentations are intended to foster understanding and compassion, while mobilizing citizens and resources to help improve the lives of service members, veterans and their families and communities.

There will be two showings in the Anchorage area:

Civilian: Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Z.J. Loussac Library, Wilda Marston Theater
(3600 Denali St.) RSVP here.

Military: Thursday, April 16, 1300-1430 Fort Richardson Base Theater (8535 Wewak Dr.) RSVP by email: ruby.s.batchelor2.ctr@mail.mil
