Jan. 15, 2016: 'Traditional Problems, Unconventional Solutions: Alternative Architecture Design for Remote Sensing in Arctic'

by Michelle Saport  |

Friday, Jan. 15, 1-2:30 p.m. Engineering & Industry Building, Room 217

Dr. Martin Cenek, faculty in the UAA Department of Computer Science and Engineering, will be giving a talk as part of the College of Engineering's Computer Science & Engineering Colloquia Series. Everyone is invited to attend.

This talk is targeted for a broad audience as an overview of an alternative sensor network architecture design for remote sensing. The talk will first present a historical perspective on technology, information and control, and then cover various topics, including nano-technology, neuro-physiology and low-power hardware design. The proposed sensor network architecture design will combine all of the presented topics as the inspiration for neuro-morphic sensor network design.
